People Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Foundry Operatives to join our well-established client based in Stourbridge, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering long-term work, excellent benefits, and genuine opportunities for progression within a busy manufacturing and workshop environment.
We are looking for operatives across multiple areas including CNC work, grinding & linishing, furnace work, and general foundry duties. This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Foundry Operative, CNC Operative, Machine Operative, Production Operative, Furnace Operative, Workshop Operative, Metal Worker, or Manufacturing Operative.
Shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekly shifts
- 06:00 – 14:00
- 14:00 – 22:00
Rates of Pay
£12.77 – £14.77 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
- Setting up and operating machinery to ensure optimum efficiency
- Using a variety of hand tools and workshop equipment
- Performing checks against instructions to ensure product quality and conformity
- Carrying out regular quality inspections and correcting issues immediately
- Ensuring adequate stock levels of raw materials to maintain productivity
- Supporting grinding, linishing, CNC, and furnace operations where required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
Essential Skills
- Previous foundry, manufacturing, or workshop experience
- Confidence operating machinery and equipment
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working within a manual, workshop-based role
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and processes
