People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Falkirk. This role would suit candidates who have experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Driver, or Class 1 Trunk Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression, including temp-to-perm.
Shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Temporary ongoing Rates of Pay: £16.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties: As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Depot-to-depot trunking routes and trailer swaps (double deckers)
- Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
- Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedules
Essential Skills: As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
- Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence
- Minimum of 1 year's Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
- Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good spoken and written English
Desirable Experience: Previous commercial driving experience
Training Provided: Driver assessment required prior to start (this usually takes place at the start of your shift). Industry-related training and ongoing support.
