People Solutions are currently recruiting for a MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator to join our well-established client based in Skelmersdale on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering an excellent hourly rate, sociable working hours, and the chance to join a friendly and progressive manufacturing business.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a MIG Welder, TIG Welder, Welder Fabricator, Fabricator Welder, Sheet Metal Fabricator, or Skilled Fabricator.
Shifts- Monday to Friday
- 39 hours per week
- Flexible working hours between 08:00 – 16:30
- £19.10 per hour
As a MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator, you will receive:

As a MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator, your duties will include:
- Operating MIG and TIG welding equipment to a high standard
- Switching between welding processes depending on material thickness and joint specifications
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical blueprints
- Marking out, cutting, and assembling fabricated components
- Fettling, grinding, and polishing welded parts to achieve the required finish
- Inspecting completed welds and checking dimensional accuracy using measuring equipment including calipers, squares, and tape measures
- Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and health and safety
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant MIG and TIG welding qualifications
- Previous experience in both MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Proven metal fabrication experience
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience working with a variety of metals and fabrication techniques
- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your employment
