People Solutions are currently recruiting for a FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our well-established client based in Sheffield (S6). This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for career progression.
Shifts:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 15:30
- Friday: 07:30 – 14:30
Rates of Pay:
£12.50 - £13.50 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Operating a Counterbalance Truck safely and efficiently
- Conducting pre-use inspections and reporting any defects to management
- Receiving and unpacking goods into the warehouse
- Stowing pallets and organising stock for deliveries
- Moving goods around the warehouse as required
- Checking the quantity and quality (visual) of incoming and outgoing goods
- Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Skills:
- Valid Counterbalance Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
- Valid UK Driving Licence (required for site access and duties)
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Truck
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and organised
- Flexible approach to additional warehouse tasks
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience working within a busy warehouse environment
Training:
Full on-site training provided with ongoing support throughout your assignment.
