People Solutions are currently recruiting for a VAN Driver to join our well-established client based in Swindon, Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, weekly pay, immediate starts, and long-term opportunities for the right candidate. This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Courier Driver, Commercial Driver, or Home Delivery Driver.
Shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 06:00 – 08:00
- Finish times by approximately 16:00
Rates of Pay
- Monday to Friday – £12.71 per hour
- Saturday – £13.50 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
- Operating and driving vans safely and efficiently to delivery locations
- Following planned delivery routes to businesses, offices, hospitals, and warehouses
- Collecting and delivering industrial mats for cleaning throughout the Wiltshire area
- Adhering to all road traffic laws and regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues to management
- Assisting with loading and unloading where required
- Completing all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
Essential Skills
- A valid UK Driving Licence
- Minimum 12 months' driving experience
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
- No major endorsement codes
- Good spoken and written English
- Excellent punctuality and time-keeping skills
- A good understanding of road traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training
- Driver assessment must be completed
- Industry-related training provided
- Ongoing support throughout the assignment
