People Solutions are currently recruiting for a General Operative / FLT Driver to join our well-established client based in central Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity offering a permanent position, competitive annual salary and long-term stability with a supportive and established business.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Counterbalance Driver, Forklift Truck Driver, FLT Driver, Warehouse Operative, General Operative, Production Operative or Materials Handler.
Shifts- Monday to Friday
- 06:00 – 14:00 rotating weekly with 12:00 – 20:00
- £26,370 - £27,529 per annum
- Permanent position
As a General Operative / FLT Driver, you will receive the following benefits:

As a General Operative / FLT Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely
- Collecting mould equipment from the shop floor
- Supplying mould equipment to the shop floor
- Cleaning mould equipment
- Putting mould equipment sets away in the mould store after use
- Maintaining a clean working area
- Loading and unloading mould equipment deliveries
- Maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards within the mould shop
To be successful as a General Operative / FLT Driver, you will need:
- A valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
- To be comfortable with manual handling duties
- Good reliability and work ethic
- The ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong attention to detail
