People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Bench Fitter / Neck Ring Repairer to join our well-established client based in Rotherham on a permanent basis.
Shifts
- Days: 6:00am – 2:00pm Monday to Thursday
- 6:00am – 11:00am Friday
- Afters: 12:00pm – 8:00pm Monday to Thursday
- 12:00pm – 5:00pm Friday
Rates of Pay
£37,000 per annum

Day-to-Day Duties
- Repair neck rings to job specifications as required
- Record all repair work on report sheets
- Monitor and replenish neck ring stock levels when required
- Prepare equipment in accordance with planned schedules
- Follow job specifications on job cards accurately
Essential Skills
- Previous toolroom experience in bench fitting
- Experience using hand tools and grinding equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Motivated and professional with a strong commercial and customer focus
- Self-resilient and capable of making difficult decisions
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Basic problem-solving ability
Desirable Experience
- Glass mould equipment experience (highly desirable)
- Experience in gas welding, milling, turning, or polishing
