QUALITY TECHNOLOGIST – FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Hours (Monday – Friday: 8.00AM – 16.00PM)

Day to Day Duties
- Oversee all quality assurance activities to ensure that products or services meet company standards and comply with regulatory and customer requirements. This includes continuous improvement of quality management systems and processes, and ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Promote a quality ethos in all company functions, providing coaching for Production, Branch and HQ teams
- Ensure that production and distribution sites meet both external and internal quality audit requirement
- Manage the company\’s Quality Management System (QMS) to achieve and maintain certifications (ISO 9001, Water Dispenser & Hydration Association).
- Monitor day to day performance ensuring compliance with quality policies and procedures.
- Conduct the quality line checks to the required standard & frequency and ensure results are accurately reported and trended
- Plan, conduct, and oversee internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
- Manage non-conformances, provide trend analysis and ensure clear CAPA are laid down to prevent recurrence
- Lead audits with external stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies.
- Support refurbishment team, ensure standards are maintained and fully documented
- Monitor production processes, analyse trends and work with Production Teams to identify areas for process optimisation; monitor and liaise with external test
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring traceability and record-keeping related to quality controls.
- Stay updated with relevant industry standards, legal regulations, and safety protocol
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding product, providing customer with clear and timely resolution of issues
- Lead, manage, teams responsible for quality assurance and compliance activities.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor\’s degree in food science / technology related subject (e.g. Quality Management, Manufacturing, or related discipline).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Food & Beverage Industry covering Quality Management or Quality Assurance role.
- Proven track record of managing QMS, audits, and driving process improvements
- Exceptionally strong influencing skills to motivate cross functional stakeholders. Confident oral and written communicator at all levels.
- Experience in Microsoft programmes such as PowerPoint, excel
- Strong understanding of quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, etc.
- Proficiency in industry standards and frameworks, such as ISO 9001, BRC, FSCC2200.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail and results-driven mindset.
- Basic laboratory skills (chemical, microbiological) an asset
- Must have full driving license as the role will require travel
