People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
Shifts: Monday to Friday 6:00am starts
Rates of pay: £17.00 per hour.

Day-to-day duties:
- Safely transport goods to client sites
- Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Performing pre-trip and post trip vehicle checks
- Adhering to traffic laws and company procedures
- Communicating effectively with the transport office
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly
Essential skills:
- A valid UK Category C licence
- A minimum of 24 months experience driving Category C ADR vehicles
- In date ADR license required
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes
- A valid UK CPC card and Digi card
- Good spoken and written English
- Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills
- A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable experience:
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training: A one-day paid induction for successful candidates.
