People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, guaranteed shifts, and long-term progression opportunities.
Shifts
- 4 on 4 off rota
- Start times between 04:00 and 06:00
Rates of Pay
- Basic rate: £15.67 per hour
- Overtime rate: £19.31 per hour (after 12 hours or on additional shifts)
- Unsociable hours enhancement: £2.18 per hour (19:00 – 07:00)

Day-to-Day Duties
- Class 2 multi-drop store deliveries
- Safely drive and operate HGV Class 2 vehicles
- Complete 8–14 drops per shift
- Unload delivery cages using a tail lift and load empty cages for return
- Monitor and control trailer temperature
- Ensure all loads are safe and secure
- Work in line with health & safety and transport regulations
Essential Skills
- Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
- Minimum of 12 months' Class 2 driving experience
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid CPC Card
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience operating temperature-controlled vehicles
Training Provided
- Driving assessment required prior to start
- First four shifts completed alongside an experienced driver
- Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout
