People Solutions are currently recruiting for a FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our well-established client based in the Swindon area. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for progression.

Shifts:

  • Week 1 - Monday – Friday: 06:00-14:00
  • Week 2 - Monday – Friday: 14:00 - 22:00

Rates of Pay:

  • Β£12.72 per hour - raising to Β£15.90 once permanent.

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting faults to management
  • Receiving and unloading goods into the warehouse
  • Picking and loading multi-part orders accurately
  • General Warehouse Duties
  • Stowing pallets and organising stock for delivery
  • Using handheld scanners to record stock movement
  • Checking the quantity and quality of all incoming and outgoing goods
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures throughout the shift

Essential Skills:

  • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
  • Previous experience operating an FLT within a warehouse environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and organised
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics setting

Training:

  • FLT assessment required before starting
  • Bendi licence / training also available for the right candidate
