People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Flatbed Driver to join our well-established client based in Widnes, Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities to grow and progress.
Shifts: Working five days out of seven (including some weekend working) AM starts between 05:00 – 07:00
Rates of Pay: £18.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties: As a HGV Class 2 Flatbed Driver, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Monday to Friday working
- Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
- Completing 6–7 flatbed deliveries across the Northwest
- Ensuring all loads are safely and correctly strapped
- Taking photographs to document successful deliveries
- Addressing any customer concerns and reporting them promptly to your line manager
Essential Skills: The skills required to be a HGV Class 2 Flatbed Driver are:
- A minimum of 12 months' experience as a Category C Driver
- Valid UK Category C driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99)
- No major endorsements
- Strong customer service skills
Desirable Experience: Previous flatbed HGV experience
Training Provided: First-day assessment followed by two weeks of training alongside a permanent staff member. Industry-related training and ongoing support.
