People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV 7.5 Tonne Delivery Drivers to join our well-established client based in Birmingham. This role would suit candidates with experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, C1 Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi-drop Driver, Courier Driver or LGV Driver.

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, your duties will include:

  • Safely operating a 7.5 Tonne vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries
  • Loading and unloading boxes and packages for onward delivery
  • Loading the vehicle for the following day's deliveries
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects or issues
  • Ensuring all loads are secured correctly and transported safely
  • Maintaining accurate delivery and compliance records
  • Communicating effectively with depot and delivery teams
  • Following food hygiene and temperature control regulations when transporting food products
Essential Skills

To be successful as an HGV 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, you will need:

  • A valid UK Category C1 Licence
  • Minimum 12 months' experience driving C1 vehicles
  • A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences
  • No IN, DR, DD or CD endorsement codes
