People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Newton-Le-Willows, Merseyside. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, Monday to Friday work, and long-term stability with a leading company in the industry.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a HGV Class 1 Driver / Truck Driver / Category CE Driver.

Shifts: Monday to Friday, Start times between 05:00 and 07:00

Rates of Pay: £21.00 per hour

Benefits:

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently on Monday to Friday shifts
  • Completing between 5-12 product deliveries to stores across the UK each day
  • Ensuring all loads are maintained at the correct temperatures and are safe and secure throughout transit
  • Safely unloading cages using a tail lift and delivering into stores
  • Completing all required paperwork accurately

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 24 months experience driving Category CE vehicles
  • Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
  • Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Valid ADR Certificate
  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99)
  • No major endorsement codes
  • Strong customer service skills

Desirable Experience:

  • Multi-drop store delivery experience

Training:

  • First day driving assessment
  • Training provided as and when required
  • Ongoing industry-related training and support
