People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Middlesbrough. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, night out allowances, and genuine temp-to-perm opportunities within a supportive and professional transport environment.
The successful driver will be operating Class 2 Tanker vehicles. Previous ADR or tanker experience would be advantageous; however, ADR training can be provided for the right candidate. This role would suit candidates with experience as a Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, ADR Driver, Tanker Driver or Category C Driver.
Shifts- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 04:00am – 06:00am
- Occasional nights out required
- Full-time ongoing work
- £17.00 per hour

As an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver, your duties will include:
- Safely transporting goods to customer and client sites
- Operating and driving Class 2 Tanker vehicles safely and efficiently
- Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Adhering to all traffic laws, ADR regulations, and company procedures
- Completing all paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
- Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
- Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly
To be successful as an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver, you will need:
- A valid UK Category C Licence
- A minimum of 18 months' Class 2 driving experience
- A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
- No major endorsement codes
- Good spoken and written English
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- A strong understanding of driving laws and regulations
- Good communication skills
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Previous tanker or ADR experience would be advantageous
- Experience completing nights out/tramping work
- Industry-related training provided
- ADR training available for suitable candidates
- Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
