People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative β Bredbury, Stockport to join our well-established client based in Bredbury, Stockport. This role would suit candidates with experience as a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative, Assembly Operative, Machine Operative or Production Assistant.
Please note that recruitment and assessment sessions will be held between 26th June 2026 and 10th July 2026. Successful candidates will commence employment from 13th July 2026.
Shifts
- Monday to Sunday β Continental Shift Pattern
- Rotating day and night shifts
- 06:00 β 18:00 and 18:00 β 06:00
Rates of Pay
- Β£16.95 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
- Feeding raw materials into production machinery
- Operating machinery safely and efficiently
- Assembling products on a production line
- Attaching labels and company branding to finished products
- Carrying out quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process
- Ensuring products meet required safety and quality standards
- Monitoring production output and reporting any issues
- Reporting equipment faults to the maintenance team
- Storing finished goods and raw materials correctly
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Essential Skills
- Basic level of English communication
- Minimum six months' experience working as a Production Operative or within a manufacturing environment
- Reliable and punctual approach to work
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a hot manufacturing environment
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Must have reliable transport or be able to travel to and from site for both 06:00 and 18:00 start times
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working as a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative, Assembly Operative or Machine Operative
- Experience working within a fast-paced production environment
- Experience operating production machinery
Training Provided
- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
