People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our well-established client based in Middleton, Manchester on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity, offering great benefits and genuine opportunities for career progression.
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm & Friday: 8.30am - 2.45pm
Salary: Β£25,555 per annum

Day-to-day duties:
- Testing finished goods and master batches to industry and company standards prior to release.
- Testing selected raw materials to ensure suitability and compliance.
- Working within the company Quality Management System (QMS) and providing feedback on performance and areas for improvement.
- Recording test results and inputting data into Elasto Online.
- Preparing samples including injection moulding and extrusion.
- Ensuring testing schedules and lead times are met, escalating any issues where required.
- Identifying and reporting non-conformances and ensuring systems are updated accordingly.
- Liaising with production, sales coordination and other departments to prioritise and complete work.
- Liaising with customers regarding production sample despatch when required.
- Supporting investigations into material concerns and updating non-conformance systems.
- Logging and organising retained and customer samples, ensuring correct labelling and despatch.
Essential skills:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Able to communicate effectively with production and sales teams.
- Positive, energetic and enthusiastic team player.
- Able to follow standards and procedures accurately.
- Works well under pressure and to deadlines.
- Willingness to learn, improve and adapt.
- Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office and internal systems.
Training: Full training will be provided, with ongoing development support.
