People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver to join our well-established client based in Wigan, Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, night out allowances, ongoing work and immediate starts with a well-established transport business. This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, ADR Driver, Tramper Driver or Truck Driver.
Rates of Pay:
- £21.00 per hour
- £25.00 per night out
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday
- 06:00 start times
- Night outs required

Day-to-Day Duties: As an HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver, your duties will include:
- Completing Class 1 multi-drop deliveries
- Operating and driving Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly
- Adhering to all traffic laws and transport regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers
- Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance requirements
- Assisting with loading and unloading where required
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately and on time
Essential Skills: To be successful as an HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver you will need:
- Valid UK Category C+E Driving Licence
- Valid ADR Licence
- Minimum 12 months' experience driving C+E vehicles
- Valid Driver CPC Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
- No major endorsement codes
- Good spoken and written English
- Excellent punctuality and timekeeping skills
- Good understanding of UK traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
- Previous ADR driving experience
Training Provided:
- Driver assessment required prior to starting
- One-day paid induction following a successful assessment
- Ongoing support throughout the assignment
