People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver ADR to join our well-established client based in Irlam, Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work within a supportive and professional environment. The driver will be responsible for driving Class 1 tankers and will be required to do nights out. ADR experience is not required as training will be provided. This is a temp-to-perm role, and the driver will be offered a contract after 12 weeks.
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday
- 04:00 – 06:00am start times
Rates of Pay:
- £19.00 per hour
- £26.20 night out allowance

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Safely transporting goods to client sites
- Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Adhering to traffic laws and company procedures
- Communicating effectively with the transport office
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly
Essential Skills:
- A valid UK Category CE licence
- A minimum of 18 months' experience driving Category CE vehicles
- An in-date ADR licence (training can be provided if required)
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes
- A valid UK CPC card and Digi card
- Good spoken and written English
- Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills
- A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience:
- Previous commercial driving experience
