People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our well-established client based in Malvern within the waste and recycling industry. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and genuine temp-to-perm opportunities within a specialist waste processing environment.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an FLT Counterbalance Driver, Waste Operative, Recycling Operative, Warehouse Operative, Production Operative or General Operative. Please note: Due to the remote location of the site, a valid UK Driving Licence and access to your own transport is essential.
Shifts- 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern
- 06:00 – 18:30
- 18:00 – 06:30
- Rotating days and nights
- £13.50 – £14.85 per hour

As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will receive:

As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, your duties will include:
- Sorting medical, clinical, and pharmaceutical waste for processing
- Loading and moving recycling bins around site
- Processing waste types in line with site procedures and regulations
- Operating an FLT Counterbalance truck safely and efficiently
- Organising waste areas and positioning bins correctly
- Carrying out manual sorting duties where required
- Using PPE correctly and following all Health & Safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Completing additional duties as required by site management
To be successful as an FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will need:
- A valid FLT Counterbalance Licence
- A valid UK Driving Licence and access to your own transport
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Reliable and motivated attitude
- Ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment
- Flexible approach to work and duties
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Previous experience handling medical, clinical, or pharmaceutical waste would be beneficial. Previous FLT Counterbalance experience within a warehouse or waste environment would be advantageous.
Training ProvidedFull training on company policies and procedures provided. Ongoing support throughout your assignment.
