MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (WAREHOUSE) β COVERING TWO WAREHOUSE SITES
People Solutions are excited to be recruiting for a Maintenance Technician (Warehouse) to support two busy warehouse sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on individual with a wide range of practical skills to play a vital role in keeping both sites safe, efficient, and well-maintained.
Shifts

Monday to Friday: 08:00 β 17:00 (occasional flexibility required)
Salary

Β£25,000 β Β£30,000 per annum DOE (higher for accredited trades or advanced horticultural knowledge)

Day-to-Day Duties
-
Carry out general maintenance including repairs, joinery, painting, and plumbing

Undertake preventative maintenance to minimise downtime

Respond to urgent repair requests quickly and effectively

Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and infrastructure

Maintain external grounds, including horticultural tasks where required

Liaise with contractors for specialist work

Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with Health & Safety standards
Essential Skills
-
Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role (ideally within a warehouse or industrial setting)

Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving ability

Ability to work independently across multiple sites

Good communication and organisational skills

Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential for site travel)
Desirable Experience

Accredited trade certifications (e.g. electrical, carpentry, or plumbing)

Advanced knowledge or qualifications in horticulture or grounds maintenance

Experience with preventative maintenance programmes
