People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Lutterworth. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, weekly pay, and immediate starts. This role would also suit candidates with previous experience as an LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, or Class 1 HGV Driver.

Basic: £18.35 per hour

Overtime after 9 hours: £24.41 per hour

Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will work:

  • Completing trunking depot-to-depot deliveries using double-deck trailers
  • Carrying out supplier collections as required
  • Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

  • A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category CE vehicles
  • A valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
  • The ability to speak and read English to a good standard
  • Experience driving commercial vehicles would be beneficial

Training Provided:

  • Assessment carried out on the first shift
  • Industry-related training and ongoing support provided throughout the assignment
