People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Coalville, Leicestershire. This role would suit candidates with previous experience as an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, C1 Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Van Driver, Commercial Driver, or LGV Driver.
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday
- Up to 12-hour shifts
£14.80 per hour
As an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will receive:
- Excellent hourly rates

Your duties will include:
- Operating and driving 7.5 Tonne (Category C1) vehicles safely and efficiently
- Completing deliveries in line with planned routes and schedules
- Carrying out pre-use and post-use vehicle inspections
- Adhering to all road traffic legislation and transport regulations
- Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
To be successful as an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:
- A valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
- A minimum of six months' Category C1 driving experience
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A good level of spoken and written English
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Multi-drop delivery experience
- Customer-facing delivery experience
