People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Motherwell. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for progression. This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Multi Drop Van Driver, Truck Driver or Delivery Driver. This role will be ongoing for the right candidate.
Shifts: 5 days out of 7
Rates of Pay: £12.86 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties As a Van Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Completing customer deliveries in a timely manner while adhering to health & safety guidelines
- Working with a Driver's Mate or second driver where required due to two-person lifting
- Delivering products to the customer's room of choice
- Making residential deliveries
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Carrying out general warehouse duties when required
- Inputting and processing customer orders using computer systems
Essential Skills To be successful as a Van Driver, you will need:
- Valid UK Category B driving licence
- Minimum of 1 year's experience driving 3.5-tonne vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN10, DR10 or DD10 endorsements)
- Strong customer service skills
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Desirable Experience
- 12 months' multi-drop delivery experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced delivery environment
Training Provided
- Paid site induction and assessment prior to starting
- Industry-related training with ongoing support throughout the assignment
