People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation in Cumbernauld and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity offering full training, excellent pay, and ongoing support. This role would suit both experienced and newly qualified drivers who are looking for stability, strong earning potential, and long-term progression.

- Day shifts – Monday to Friday

Rates of Pay:
- £14.00 – £28.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties: As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Safely operating and driving Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
- Working as a tipper driver
- Completing loading and unloading tasks with care and accuracy
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Communicating effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff
Essential Skills: To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
- A valid UK Category C Licence
- A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, or CD codes)
- A reliable, professional, and punctual attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A strong understanding of road safety and compliance
- The ability to work effectively with a Driver's Mate
Desirable Experience:
- Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience
- Experience handling large or bulky goods
- Strong customer interaction and service skills
Training:
- Full industry-related training provided
- Ongoing support and development throughout the assignment
