People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Nuneaton. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, immediate starts, and long-term opportunities with a reputable and growing company.

This role will suit candidates who have worked as a LGV Class 2 Driver, ADR Driver, Category C Tanker Driver.

Shift Pattern:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times between 04:00 – 07:00
  • No weekend working
  • Full-time ongoing work
Pay Rate:
  • £16.50 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver will include:

  • Operating and driving Class 2 ADR vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift
  • Delivering goods to customers and delivery locations
  • Ensuring cargo is loaded, secured, and transported safely
  • Adhering to all driving laws, ADR regulations, and company procedures
  • Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers
  • Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly
  • Assisting with loading and unloading when required
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
Essential Skills:

The skills required to be an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver are:

  • A valid UK Category C Licence
  • A valid ADR qualification
  • A minimum of 24 months' Class 2 driving experience
  • A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
  • No major endorsement codes
  • Excellent timekeeping and reliability
  • A strong understanding of driving laws and regulations
  • Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable Experience:
  • Previous commercial driving experience
  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience
  • Experience working within a fast-paced transport environment
Training:

Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout.
