- HGV Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver to join our well-established client based in
Middlesbrough .

This role will suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 ADR Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, ADR Tanker Driver, Tanker Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver.

Duties: As an HGV Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver, your duties will include
- Transporting goods using curtain-sided vehicles with no handball involved
- Completing trunk runs between depots and customer sites
- Operating Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all loads are safe, secure and compliant
- Adhering to road transport legislation and company procedures
- Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers
- Reporting vehicle defects and maintenance requirements promptly
Essential
Skills: To be successful in this role, you will need
- A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
- A minimum of twelve months' Class 1 driving experience
- A valid Driver CPC Card
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A valid ADR Certificate
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- A good understanding of UK road transport regulations

- Previous commercial driving experience within trunking or regional logistics
- Previous ADR or tanker driving experience
