People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver in Edinburgh to join our well-established client based in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and long-term career prospects. New passes are welcome to apply.
Rates of Pay:
- £17.00 per hour
- Weekly pay
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am to 4:30pm

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Safely operate and drive HGV Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
- Deliver building materials to customers' homes and commercial premises
- Complete loading and unloading tasks safely and accurately
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Ensure deliveries are completed in a professional and timely manner
Essential Skills:
- Valid UK Category C Licence
- Valid HIAB Grab Ticket
- Valid Driver CPC Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences
- No IN, DR, DD, or CD endorsements
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Understanding of road safety and compliance requirements
- Reliable, professional, and punctual approach to work
Training:
- Full industry-related training provided
- Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
