People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Water Technician / Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Coalville, East Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress. This role is permanent.
The ideal candidate must hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence.
Shifts- Monday to Friday
- 06:00 – 15:00
£29,000

Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Deliveries with handballing
- Operating and driving Van in a safe and efficient manner
- Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly
- Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues
- Heavy lifting involved
- Cleaning of coolers mixed with water
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Hold a valid UK Category B Licence
- Minimum of 6 months experience driving Vans
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsements)
- Good level of English (spoken and written)
- Punctual with excellent timekeeping skills
- Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
- Physically fit due to the nature of the role
- Experience driving commercial vehicles
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Industry-related training and ongoing support.
