People Solutions are currently recruiting for a FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our well-established client based in the Swindon area. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for progression.
Shifts:
- Week 1 - Monday – Friday: 06:00-14:00
- Week 2 - Monday – Friday: 14:00 - 22:00
Rates of Pay:
- £12.72 per hour - raising to £15.90 once permanent.

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting faults to management
- Receiving and unloading goods into the warehouse
- Picking and loading multi-part orders accurately
- General Warehouse Duties
- Stowing pallets and organising stock for delivery
- Using handheld scanners to record stock movement
- Checking the quantity and quality of all incoming and outgoing goods
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Adhering to health and safety procedures throughout the shift
Essential Skills:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
- Previous experience operating an FLT within a warehouse environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, self-motivated, and organised
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics setting
Training:
- FLT assessment required before starting
- Bendi licence / training also available for the right candidate
