People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation in Wetherby and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity offering stability, great earning potential, and long-term progression. This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver.
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday day shifts
£16.54 per hour
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive:
- Excellent hourly rates (PAYE – holidays accrued separately)
- Ongoing work with full training and support
- Weekly pay
- Immediate starts available
- Staff canteen and free site parking

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:
- Safely operating and driving HGV Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
- Delivering drinks and alcohol products to pubs, bars, restaurants and other hospitality venues, working alongside a Driver's Mate
- Completing loading and unloading tasks with care and accuracy
- Carrying out some manual handling and handball duties
To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
- A valid UK Category C Licence
- A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ability to work with a Driver's Mate to complete multi-drop deliveries
- Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience

- Full industry-related training provided
