People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our well-established client based in Garretts Green, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

This position is ideal for applicants who have worked in a previous position as a LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver.

Shifts:

  • Working Monday to Friday
  • £17.25 per hour

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive:

Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Carrying out RDC or trunking work (curtain-side, no handball required)
  • Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required

To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

  • A valid UK Category CE licence
  • A minimum of twelve months' experience driving CE vehicles
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Previous commercial driving experience
  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience

Training:

  • Drivers will have a short assessment before any shift
