CLASS 2 DRIVERS – CAN ACCEPT NEWLY PASSED DRIVERS
Shifts: Monday to Friday – Start times from 06:00
Rates of Pay: £14.50 – £16.50 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Some handball required
- Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills
To be successful as a Class 2 Driver, you will need:
- A valid UK Category C Licence
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ability to deliver kitchen and bedroom products to customers' homes (with assistance from a Driver's Mate)
- Ability to load and unload vehicles safely
- Conduct pre- and post-journey checks
- Ensure timely deliveries while following assigned routes and schedules
- Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
- Good understanding of traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
- Experience delivering large or bulky goods
- Good customer service skills (customer-facing role)
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training
- Driver assessment required prior to start
- Paid training provided alongside an experienced crew member after successful assessment
