Job Description HGV Class 1 Driver - Multi-Drop - Bristol \n People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver - Multi-Drop - Bristol to join our well-established client based in Avonmouth, Bristol . \n This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression. \n This role is ideal for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for consistent night-shift work. \n This role would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver , Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver . \n Rates of

Duties: \n As an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will work: \n
- Class 1 multi-drop deliveries, completing up to 11 drops per night \n
- Operating Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently \n
- Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections \n
- Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly \n
- Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations \n
- Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers \n
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements \n
- Assisting with loading and unloading when required \n
Essential
- Skills: \n To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will need: \n
- A valid UK Category C+E Driving Licence \n
- A minimum of two years' experience driving C+E vehicles \n
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes) \n
- A valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card \n
- Good spoken and written English \n
- Excellent punctuality and timekeeping \n
- A strong understanding of UK road traffic laws \n
- Effective communication skills \n
