People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Coalville, East Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work and a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity with a salary of £32,000 per annum after successful completion of 13 weeks.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver, LGV Driver, Multi-drop Driver or Delivery Driver.
Shifts- Monday to Friday
- £15.75 per hour
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
- Following successful completion of 13 weeks, drivers will transfer onto a permanent contract with a salary of £32,000 per annum

- Completing RDC and brewery deliveries using curtain-side vehicles
- Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle checks
- Adhering to all road traffic laws and transport regulations
- Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers
- Supporting loading and unloading duties where required
- Heavy lifting may be involved depending on deliveries
- A valid UK Category C Licence
- Minimum 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles
- A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Previous RDC or brewery delivery experience
- Multi-drop delivery experience advantageous
- Industry-related training provided
