People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation in Doncaster and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers who are looking for stability, great earning potential, and long-term progression. This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday 06.00
Pay Rate:
£16.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Safely operate and drive Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
- Deliver products depot to depot
- NO HAND BALL - Products will be loaded and unloaded for you
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects to management
- Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff
Essential Skills:
- Valid UK Category C Licence
- Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, CD codes)
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Understanding of road safety and compliance
- Ability to work with a Driver's Mate to complete multi-drop deliveries
Desirable Experience:
- Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience
- Good customer interaction and service skills
Training:
- Full industry-related training provided
- Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
