People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver to join our well-established client based in Middlesbrough. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, and genuine opportunities for long-term work and career progression.

This role will suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 ADR Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, ADR Tanker Driver, Tanker Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver.

Shifts:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times between 04:00 and 06:00
  • Night out duties required

Rates of Pay:

  • £19.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Transporting goods using curtain-sided vehicles with no handball involved
  • Completing trunk runs between depots and customer sites
  • Operating Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensuring all loads are safe, secure and compliant
  • Adhering to road transport legislation and company procedures
  • Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers
  • Reporting vehicle defects and maintenance requirements promptly

Essential Skills:

  • A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
  • A minimum of twelve months' Class 1 driving experience
  • A valid Driver CPC Card
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • A valid ADR Certificate
  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent timekeeping and reliability
  • A good understanding of UK road transport regulations

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous commercial driving experience within trunking or regional logistics
  • Previous ADR or tanker driving experience

Training Provided:

  • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
