People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Auction Sales Car Driver to join our well-established client based in Leeds on a full-time basis. This role would suit candidates who have previous experience as a Driver, Courier or Delivery Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work and competitive rates of pay. This role is based at a busy car auction site and is ideal for candidates who enjoy an active, outdoor role.

Please note, you must be aged 21 or over for this position due to our client's insurance requirements.

Shifts

  • Monday to Friday with weekend availability
  • 09:45 – 19:30

Rates of Pay

  • £13.00 per hour Monday to Friday
  • £19.50 per hour Saturdays and Bank Holidays
  • £26.00 per hour Sundays

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Moving a wide range of vehicles around site in preparation for auction
  • Driving both manual and automatic vehicles
  • Driving petrol, diesel, and electric vehicles
  • Preparing vehicles for sale days
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Moving vehicles safely in and out of tight spaces
  • Completing high levels of walking (10,000+ steps per day)
  • Supporting general yard operations as required

Essential Skills

  • A valid UK Category B driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months
  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
  • No major endorsement codes
  • To be aged 21 or over (insurance requirement)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work outdoors and remain active throughout the shift

  • Previous experience working in a similar environment
