People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Halesowen, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression. This role would suit applicants who have worked in roles such as LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, or Articulated Lorry Driver.

Day-to-Day Duties
- Completing trunking (1 drop) to the Newport depot, with occasional return stock
- Assisting with shunting vehicles for the remainder of the shift
- Operating and driving Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all loads are loaded and secured correctly
- Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo
