People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver β Swindon to join our well-established client based in Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
This role is ideal for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver β Swindon looking for consistent day-shift work.
Shifts
β’ Monday to Friday
β’ AM starts from 08:00 until finish
Rates of Pay
β’ Β£15.00 per hour (Monday to Friday)

Day-to-Day Duties
As an HGV Class 2 Driver β Swindon, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
β’ Class 2 multi-drop deliveries
β’ Operating Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
β’ Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections
β’ Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly
β’ Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations
β’ Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
β’ Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements
β’ Assisting with loading and unloading when required
Essential Skills
To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver β Swindon, you will need:
β’ A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
β’ A minimum of 12 months\β experience driving Category C vehicles
β’ No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes)
β’ A valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
β’ Good spoken and written English
β’ Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
β’ A strong understanding of UK road traffic laws
β’ Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
β’ Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
