People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in the New Mills, High Peak area. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Day to Day Duties
- General Haulage deliveries (working on curtain-side), unloading with Pump Truck
- Operate and drive various 7.5 Tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills
- Hold a valid UK Category C1 Licence
- Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving C1 vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
- Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial
Training
Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
