HGV Class 2 Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Warrington to work rotating shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress Shifts: Working five days out of seven (including some weekend working) AM: 01:00 – 04:00 start times PM: 14:00 – 18:00 start times Rates of Pay: Minimum of twelve hours paid per shift and all breaks fully paid £16.63 per hour (standard 48 hours) £24.33 per hour (overtime after 48 hours) Benefits: Your benefits as a HGV Class 2 Driver will be: Ongoing position with a leading company in the industry Benefit from a thorough first-day assessment and two weeks of training alongside experienced staff Competitive rates of pay Day to Day Duties: Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Driver are: Working rotating shifts Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently Complete 6-7 product deliveries to various stores across the UK daily Ensure all loads are maintained at the correct temperatures throughout the journey Safely unload cages using a tail lift and deliver them into stores Take photos to document successful deliveries Address any customer concerns and promptly report them to your line manager Essential Skills: The skills required as a HGV Class 2 Driver: At least six months of experience as a Class 2 driver Must hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence Must hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph No more than six points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99) No major endorsements Strong customer service skills Desirable Experience: Familiarity with cage and temperature-controlled deliveries is a plus Training: First-day assessment followed by two weeks of training alongside a permanent staff member Industry related training and ongoing support throughout Apply: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process
