HGV Class 2 Driver β Cumbernauld β PERMANENT
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client\βs expanding transport team based in Cumbernauld. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers to secure full-time, permanent work with excellent rates of pay, full training, and genuine long-term progression.

Day-to-Day Duties
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
β’ Safely operating and driving Class 2 vehicles
β’ Delivering kitchen and bedroom products to customer homes with a Driver\βs Mate
β’ Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
β’ Completing pre- and post-journey vehicle checks
β’ Ensuring all loads are secure before transport
β’ Maintaining accurate delivery documentation
β’ Following planned routes and delivery schedules
β’ Communicating professionally with customers and transport teams
β’ Some handball required
Essential Skills
β’ Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence
β’ Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
β’ No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD or CD codes)
β’ Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
β’ Good communication and customer service skills
β’ Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations
β’ Ability to work as part of a two-person delivery team
Desirable Experience
β’ Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience
β’ Experience delivering large or bulky goods
β’ Customer-facing delivery experience
Training Provided
β’ Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
