People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Paisley.

Day-to-Day Duties
-
Drive Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
-
Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
-
Load and unload cargo safely with the assistance of a Driver's Mate
-
Deliver kitchen and bedroom products to customer homes
-
Follow assigned delivery routes while adhering to time schedules
-
Ensure all goods are handled carefully and delivered on time

Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving standards

Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
-
Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly
Essential Skills

Hold a valid UK Category C Licence

Hold a valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card

No more than six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsement codes)

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Good communication and customer service skills

Strong understanding of UK driving and road regulations

Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
