HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER – NEW PASSES WELCOME

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation in Paisley and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified drivers who are looking for stability, great earning potential, and long-term progression.
Shift Pattern: 24-hour operation – various shifts available
Pay Rate: £14.50 – £18.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
-
Safely operate and drive Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
-
Deliver kitchen and bedroom products to customers' homes (working with a Driver's Mate)

Complete loading and unloading tasks with care and accuracy

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects to management
-
Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
-
Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
-
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff

SOME HANDBALL REQUIRED
Essential Skills

Valid UK Category C Licence
-
Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card

No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, CD codes)

Reliable, professional, and punctual

Good communication and customer service skills

Understanding of road safety and compliance

Ability to work with a Driver's Mate to complete multi-drop deliveries
Desirable Experience

Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience
