HGV Class 1 Driver – Coventry, West Midlands People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Coventry, West Midlands.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, no handball work, paid breaks, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for long-term employment.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver or Class 1 Delivery Driver.
- Shifts• Monday to Friday
- AM starts between 00:00 – 04:00 or PM starts between 17:00 – 22:00
- Regular weekend overtime available
- Long shifts available to maximise earnings Rates of Pay AM Shifts• £17.86 per hour
- £22.33 per hour after 9 hours
- £35.73 per hour on the sixth shift PM Shifts• £19.05 per hour
- £23.81 per hour after 9 hours

- Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company procedures Essential Skills To be successful in this role, you will need:• Valid UK Category CE (Class 1) Driving Licence
- Minimum twelve months' Class 1 driving experience
- Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences
- Good communication skills
- Professional and reliable approach to work Desirable Experience• Previous RDC delivery experience
- Curtain-sider experience
- Brewery or multi-drop experience would be advantageous Training Provided• Driver assessment required prior to start
