People Solutions are recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to work with our well-established client based in Doncaster. This role is working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and is a temporary to permanent position.

Rates of Pay:
- Days - £17.00 per hour
- Nights - £19.00 per hour
Day to Day Duties:
- Be prepared for various shift lengths
- Drive Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently
- Curtain side trailers
- Box trailers
- Self tip may be required at some customer sites
- Use a tail lift and pump truck
- Make store deliveries
- Comply with driving rules and laws
- Ensure cab is well presented at all times
- Ensure your load is secured correctly
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report any faults to management
Essential Skills:
- Hold a valid UK CE licence
- Have at least two years' experience driving CE vehicles
- No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
- Have an in-date UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
- Experience operating various trailer types
- Data on your tacho card from the last 60 days
- Be prepared for handball
- Good time keeping
- Good communication skills
- Positive 'Can do' attitude
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience working as an ad hoc driver on general haulage is desirable but not essential.
Training:
- In depth written and driving assessment is required for this role
- Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
