HGV Class 1 Driver – Southam, Warwickshire
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver based in Southam, Warwickshire to join our client. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities to grow and progress.
Shifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • Start time: 06:00
Rates of Pay
  • Monday to Friday: £17.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
  • Class 1 trunking and trailer swaps
  • Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs
  • Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
Essential Skills
  • Valid UK Category C+E / Class 1 licence
  • Minimum 24 months' Class 1 driving experience
  • No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
  • Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good spoken and written English
Desirable Experience
  • Previous commercial driving experience
Training Provided
  • Industry-related training and ongoing support
