Days –
Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday Nights –
Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday Start Times • 04:00 – 10:00 (AM start window)
• 14:00 – 22:00 (PM start window) Rates of Pay • £17.30 per hour – Standard hours Monday to Friday up to 42 hours (06:00 – 22:00)
• £25.95 per hour – Overtime after 42 hours (days)
• £20.76 per hour – Standard night hours Sunday to Thursday up to 42 hours (22:00 – 06:00)
• £20.30 per hour – Saturday day rate
• £22.30 per hour – Sunday day rate Benefits • Free on-site parking

• Opportunity to progress into other departments within the business Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Completing 2–4 store deliveries per shift
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
• Collecting recycling from depots when required
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and reporting any faults to management
• Ensuring deliveries are completed in a timely manner
• Communicating any issues or delays effectively
• Abiding by all working time rules and transport regulations
• Trunking work may also be required (mostly on PM shifts) Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: • Valid UK Category C+E Driving Licence
• At least one year of Class 1 HGV driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six points for minor offences (no IN10, DR10, DD10)
• Good customer service and communication skills Desirable Experience • Previous experience with store deliveries would be advantageous Training Provided • One-hour company assessment (written and practical)
• Two-day paid company induction if successful
