HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver – Leicester
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Van Driver, Truck Driver, or Delivery Driver.
Shift Pattern:
• Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate:
• £14.80 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver will be:
• Operate and drive various 7.5-tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• No heavy lifting
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
Essential Skills:
The skills required to be an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver are:
• Hold a valid UK Category C1 licence
• Have a minimum of six months\’ experience driving Category C1 vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Hold a valid UK CPC card and UK Digi card
• Be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctual with excellent time-keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Strong communication skills
Desirable Experience:
• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
Training:
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout
